Tallahassee rapper Luh Tyler first drew notice for his animated flows, whimsical lyrics, and carefree spirit. Barely two months after dropping his earliest homemade tracks in mid-2022, the then-16-year-old upstart had already become a buzzy viral presence. Tracks such as “Law & Order” and “Fat Racks,” which showcased his playful Florida-street-style, drove that surge and landed him a major-label contract with Atlantic; the imprint issued his debut mixtape, My Vision, the following March. Its 2024 successor, Mr. Skii, marked his first appearance on the Billboard 200.

Tyler Meeks spent his high-school summer break laying down initial raw material straight onto his phone. One cut offered a cheeky nod to influencer Jayda Wayda, while another reworked Detroit rapper Veeze’s “Law & Order” into a name-dropping, Florida-centric sequel he simply called “Law & Order pt. 2.” By the time fall classes resumed, he had already amassed a growing regional following online. Subsequent releases “Fat Racks” and “Back Flippin’” fared equally well, prompting early label conversations. Atlantic ultimately signed him, and Luh Tyler cut his debut project with fellow Floridians Wizz Havin, Trapland Pat, and Loe Shimmy. My Vision arrived in March 2023 and was later expanded into a “Reloaded” edition. Mr. Skii followed in August 2024, featuring Kodak Black, Veeze, and BossMan Dlow, and reached number 197 on the Billboard 200.
