Mario Judah fuses goth metal with trap-styled production, bringing the theatrical intensity of the former together with an overdriven twist on the latter. Launching his recording career in 2020, the producer and singer saw his second release, the villainous "Die Very Rough," achieve viral status during the same year.
Born in Flint, Michigan, Judah grew up in Atlanta. He began making beats in the mid-2010s, yet grew frustrated with the lack of commitment shown by artists for whom he produced. After friends encouraged him to issue his own music, he posted the booming, saber-rattling track "Crush" to SoundCloud. The slightly less imposing "Die Very Rough" appeared soon after, spreading virally and securing Judah a slot at Rolling Loud 2020. He issued the Whole Lotta Red EP before the year concluded. The singles "I Cannot Love You" and "It's Time to Rock" arrived in 2021.
