WhoHeem, known for his casually energetic style, landed one of 2020’s biggest viral smashes via the bold single “Lets Link,” which appeared while the rapper was still 18. Born Calvin Raheem Burdine and based in San Bernardino, he spent the opening months of that year self-releasing short, lively cuts including “Cloud High Baby,” “Dum Hands,” and the GirlzLuhDev-assisted “Stop It.” “Lets Link” arrived the following August; after being picked up by major-label Arista, it spread rapidly among TikTok users and later reached the Billboard Hot 100. Two remixes supplied further visibility, the first featuring PPcocaine and the second uniting Tyga with Lil Mosey.
