Biography

Formed in 1995, the Italian alternative pop/rock foursome Kash issued their debut album Mutamenti in December 1997. Produced by Paul Chain, the release established the band as one of the most interesting acts in the local rock scene. Kash relocated to the U.S. in 2000 to record their next album, which Steve Albini produced in Chicago before its 2001 release. The group also appeared on the compilation Soniche Avventure Vl with a cover of the Smiths' "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me."
