Anthony Lorenzo Holmes, Jr., who records as Hitkidd, arrived in 1995 and began producing beats at fourteen, turning what started as a pastime into a full-time vocation by supplying instrumentals to Big Boogie, Lil $tunna, Big Mota, and additional Memphis rappers. Early mixtapes such as 2018’s Mastermind, 2019’s Masterplan, and 2020’s Hitkidd for President: 2020 appeared while he concentrated on production work, yet his inventive style soon attracted wider attention and yielded placements for Duke Deuce, Baby Tate, Co Cash, BlocBoy JB, and further prominent names. Several cuts on Megan Thee Stallion’s 2021 compilation Something for Thee Hotties also bear his hand.

Drawing from a South Memphis childhood and the ’90s rap sounds of his city, Hitkidd gradually assembled an extensive catalog that includes beats for Bladee, Baby Tate, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more. His 2022 single “F.N.F. (Let's Go),” a collaboration with GloRilla, quickly became a viral sensation; the anthemic, party-ready track surfaced in late April 2022, amassed millions of streams within weeks, and saw its video viewed more than sixteen million times in the same period. Additional singles with Gloss Up, Slimeroni, K Carbon, and others followed, most of which appeared on the 2023 project Renegade, a collection spotlighting Memphis talent.

The same year brought the separate 2024 mixtape Hitkidd for President, featuring guests including Xavier Wulf and DaBaby, along with C.A.S.H (Can't Always Stay Humble) recorded with Co Cash. In 2025 he issued the EP Hipkidd alongside Da Hipster.
